What's involved?
After meeting with your instructor, who will go over the fundamentals of scuba diving to enjoy your dive safely, you'll enter the water ready for your scuba adventure. We'll practise the initial skills in the swimming pool and then get ready for your first open water dive under the supervision of your Instructor. To a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet, this experience will be the first step in your new hobby that might just change your life.
How long will it take?
One day. Start at 11:00 in the morning for a bit of dive theory over breakfast.

The PADI Scuba Diver and SSI Passport to Scuba programs are pre-entry level certification that are perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple of times a year. With either of these Diving certifications you can dive under the direct supervision of a professional Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next vacation or dive trip.
What's involved?
You'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water dives.
How long will it take?
The course lasts two to three days.

Whether you choose to do a PADI Course or an SSI Course the Open Water license is your certification to dive. This is the first level of diving certification - your ticket to exciting adventures in the underwater world. This license enables you to dive to a depth not to exceed 18 meters with a buddy who is also a certified diver, at a 100% of all diving destinations in the world!
What's involved?
The SSI and PADI Open Water courses are divided into modules and consist of five academic sessions - video and lecture, shallow water sessions - amidst the beauty of the islands' sheltered beaches, and then four open water dives in the ocean.
How long will it take?
Typically the course takes between three and four full days, but rest assured, we will not rush you through the programme. Because the course is performance based, you will have plenty of time to practise your new skills prior to certification.

This in-water, performance based course includes two "core" dives: a deep and underwater navigation dive, and three different "elective" dives that may include: boat diving, underwater photography, computer diving, night diving, drift, waves & current diving, etc.
What's involved?
We all know that the place you learn new skills in is in the water. After covering the material with your instructor, you are ready for the fun part of this course - the diving. The course is run in a relaxed manner with the Instructor who offers help, encouragement and expert advice to guide you through the various tasks that will develop a greater awareness of the environment and other excellent skill building exercises.
How long will it take?
Generally this course is completed over two to three days.
What do I need to start?
You must be an Open Water Diver.
